A list of changes for the much awaited 9.3x version

 

• Updated brain interface with better file upload options. Just drag & drop files and folders. Elephas will navigate across all your subfolders and load all the supported files.

• Auto sync - Now link your note takings tools, let Elephas auto detect changes (Pro feature)

• New file types - HTML, EML, Video files

• Support for GPT-4o-mini and Claude Sonnet 3.5 model.

• “Notes” tab in brain shows the captured information. When you chat with your brain, now you can see where you captured the information. i.e The app name and month/year.

• Web Pages now supports recursive parsing (Pro)

• Brain file storage management - Change between local and iCloud storage

• Now, you can add any one external AI provider, like Fireworks.ai, OpenRouter under “Custom AI” - The APIs need to be OpenAI API compatible (which most are).

• OpenAI large embedding model - Picks up even small nuances from the brain when chatting

• YouTube indexing support (Under Web Pages tab)

• Global refresh button in brain to force sync changes (Pro feature)

• Now you can chat with a brain while documents are getting indexed into another brain

• Control the tokens used per Brain when chatting. Adjust “Context Token Size”
• Use maximum tokens for summary kind of task
• For simple Q/A use a small amount, say 1000 tokens
