How to use Elephas Super Brain on iPhone and iPad
Super Brain on iOS
You can access your super brains on the Elephas iPhone and iPad app. (If you’re on the Pro and Pro plus plans )
Sync Super Brains with iCloud
Elephas for iOS supports iCloud syncing, allowing you to access your Super Brains and their content across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Requirements
- Latest Elephas Mac app (v11.4+) — required to initiate sync from Mac
- iCloud Drive enabled on both devices
- Same Apple ID on your Mac and iOS device
- Updated Elephas iOS app
First-Time Sync
When you open Super Brain on iOS for the first time, you may see a “Syncing files…” message.
This means Elephas is fetching your Brains and content from iCloud.
This process may take a few minutes depending on:
- Your internet speed
- Number/size of files
- iCloud sync queue
Brain List Screen (iOS)
After syncing completes, you can access your Super Brains from the Brain tab (1st tab) in the Elephas iOS app.
Here, you will see a grid view of Brain cards, each representing a Super Brain synced from your Mac or created directly on iOS.
Each Brain card displays:
- Brain Name
- Chat Count (message icon)
- Content Count (document icon)
- Number of indexed files, URLs, or notes
- Last Updated date
- Shows when indexing or content changes were last applied
Super Chat (Default Brain)
You’ll also see Super Chat, the default AI assistant inside Elephas.
This Super Chat:
- Does not index files
- Works like a general-purpose AI chat
- Uses your configured AI provider or Elephas API

Choosing a Brain for Chat
When initiating a new chat conversation, you can choose which brain you want to chat with. Once all your brains are synced, you will see a drop down list like the following -

Once you start having a conversation with a brain, the in-chat experience will have the name of the conversation, as well as the brain you’re chatting with.

Compatibility with iOS Devices
Smart AI Keyboard is compatible with all iOS devices running iOS 15 or higher. Additionally, the app supports all versions of the iPad and iPhone.
