Creating a Super Brain on iOS
Learn how to create and organize Super Brains on your iPhone or iPad.
What is a Super Brain?
A Super Brain in Elephas is your personal knowledge space where you can add documents, web pages, and notes. Elephas automatically indexes this information so you can chat with it naturally and get accurate, context-based answers grounded in your own content.
Each Brain maintains its own indexed content and chat history, keeping your conversations organized by topic.
Creating Your First Brain
- Open the Super Brain tab in the Elephas iOS app
- Tap the ➕ button (bottom-right corner)
- Enter your Brain details:
- Brain name – Choose a descriptive name (e.g., "Marketing Notes")
- System instruction (optional) – Define how the Brain should respond
- After entering your details, tap Create to save the Brain.
- Your new Brain appears as a card in the Super Brain list.
System Instructions
System instructions allow you to set a “personality” or response style for your Brain.
It lets you define how the Brain should reply — tone, style, or rules it must follow.
Here are simple examples you can use:
- “Answer only based on the given contexts. If the answer is not found, say ‘I could not find the answer.’”
- “Keep responses short and clear.”
- “Explain in simple language.” the tone i used in the
Tips for Better Results
- Give your Brains short, clear names so they’re easy to find later.
- Add system instructions to guide how the AI should respond — for example: “Keep it brief,” or “Use bullet points.”
- Each Brain works on its own, so feel free to experiment without affecting anything else.
Example Use Case
Scenario:
- Create a Brain named Marketing Brain.
- Add campaign strategy docs and reference articles.
- Chat with it to summarize findings or extract deadlines.
Next Steps
Once your Super Brain is created, you can:
- Add content to Your Brain – Upload files, web pages, and documents from within the app
- Share from other apps – Use the Share Extension to capture content quickly
- Create Notes – Add text notes directly in Elephas
- Start Chatting – Have conversations with your indexed knowledge
