Auto syncing changes to Super Brain
Elephas Super Brain has a nifty feature that can track the underlying folders and files for changes and update them.
How It Works
Elephas continuously monitors your linked folders and files for updates.
Every 4 hours, it automatically syncs the latest changes — without you lifting a finger.
And the best part?
Only the changed parts of your documents are reindexed, making the process fast and efficient.
Enable Auto Sync
You can enable Auto Sync in two ways:
1️⃣ On a Whole Brain
Keep an entire Brain in sync with one click.
2️⃣ On Individual Files or Folders
Prefer fine control? Turn on Auto Sync for specific folders or documents.
Simply right-click on the file or folder → select “Enable Auto Sync”.
Elephas will now keep just that item updated automatically in the background.
If you have note taking apps that store files locally (Obsidian for example), then you can turn on Auto Sync, to have Elephas constantly sync your new changes.
