iOS smart keyboard overview

We have taken it a step further from the Mac app and introduced AI Smart Keyboard for iOS devices.

Smart AI keyboard is an AI-powered keyboard app for iOS devices that helps automate the writing process.

Some of the shortcuts defined for Mac would work here in the app.

Hold,

p - Professional mode

f - Friendly mode

v - Viral mode

s - Smart write

c - Continue writing

g - Grammar fix

You can also select a piece of text and run the commands.

Here is the set of features that work on iOS devices.

1) Smart Reply

Reply to emails, social media posts, and messages with a click, choosing from readymade reply options. Some of the types include,

Positive, negative, professional, casual, annoying, thankful, energetic, and negotiation.

2) Rewrite mode

Supports four different modes,

Let Elephas write from where you left off. Give it enough context and leave an incomplete sentence. Elephas will complete a sentence or a larger piece of content depending on the context.

4) Grammar fixes

Worried about sending an email with grammar mistakes? Elephas can take care of that with a click.

You can always revert to your original content by clicking the undo button.

Under the Elephas main app -> Config, you can enable the Elephas keyboard checkbox. This will help you use the native iOS keyboard for all your typing, but while switching to the Elephas keyboard, the AI buttons will be visible by default.

You can click the globe icon to switch back to your native keyboard.

If you don't prefer our keyboard, you can still use Apple's native keyboard and switch to Elephas when you want to use the features.

The Elephas AI Keyboard also supports voice input.

You can find the “mic” icon on the top right corner of the keyboard.

Once you click on the mic icon, you will be taken to the voice recording screen -

You can speak into your phone and start recording. Whatever you speak will be transcribed and cleaned up by AI. You can even choose which super brain this recording gets added to.

The system is tuned for composing a message.

So, you can simply say- “I can not come today” instead of “Write a message saying I can not come today”.

The target language of the result will match the keyboard locale. So, ideally, you can talk in any supported language, and have the result in the keyboard locale language.

You can use the Elephas AI engine that’s included with your subscription.

It uses GPT 3.5 out of the box. But if you prefer low latency, faster AI responses and want to use GPT-4 then please use your own Open AI keys from the preferences.
