Using Zoom Transcripts with Elephas
Elephas now supports importing Zoom meeting transcripts to help you instantly summarize conversations, extract key decisions, and ask questions across your recorded calls — all using AI.
What You Need
To use this feature, make sure the following is set up:
- You’re using Zoom on macOS
- Cloud recording or local recording with audio transcript is enabled in your Zoom account settings
- You’ve ended the meeting and Zoom has generated the transcript file (.vtt)
How to Enable Zoom Transcripts on Mac
- Sign in to Zoom at zoom.us
- Go to Settings → Recording
- Enable “Audio Transcript” under Cloud Recording or Local Recording
- Start and record your Zoom meeting as usual
📌 Note: Transcripts are only generated for recorded meetings. Be sure to start a recording during the meeting.
Saving the Transcript
After your meeting ends:
- If using cloud recording, go to your Zoom account’s Recordings page to download the .vtt file
- If using local recording, find the file in your Zoom folder, typically located at:
Importing into Elephas
Go to the Super Brain, click Integrations → Zoom (you can also add a new from the top menu), then select the folder we used in the previous step.
