The File System Agent in Elephas allows you to perform both read and write operations on your local files. Whether you need to select an input file for processing or specify an output destination for generated results, the File System Agent streamlines these tasks for you.

Read Actions: Easily choose input files to be used in your workflows.

Write Actions: Specify the output destination folder to save results generated by your workflows.

 

Using the File System Agent

 

Step 1: Create a Workflow

Navigate to the workflow section and click on the option to create a new workflow.

Step 2: Add an Agent

Once your workflow is created, you will have the option to add agents to it.

Step 3: Select the File System Agent

From the list of available agents, select the File System Agent. This will allow you to perform Read and Write actions within your workflow.

Step 4: Trigger the Workflow

To trigger your workflow, enter the command @workflowName in the chat text area, replacing "workflowName" with the name of your saved workflow.

 

For Example: To create a File System Workflow that read an invoice file, generate a summary report that includes total sales, average sales per transaction, and the top-selling product, and write the results to a specified output folder.

Step 1: First, create a Read Agent. Choose the invoice file you want to process.

Step 2: Next, create an AI Agent. Set the instructions for this agent.

Step 3: Then, create a Write Agent. Choose the folder to save the output.

Step 4: Finally, select the file you want to process through the "Add Files" option and trigger the workflow from Super Chat.

This will process the file and save the output in the selected location.
